David W. Leopold is General Counsel and past President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He has served as AILA’s top liaison to the Department of Homeland Security’s key enforcement bureaus and has testified as an immigration expert before the U.S. Congress. His comments on cutting edge immigration issues frequently appear in major media throughout the United States and internationally. Mr. Leopold’s Cleveland, Ohio-based immigration, visa, and citizenship practice serves corporations, health care institutions, families, and individuals. He defends non-citizens in administrative removal and federal criminal and civil court proceedings. In addition to his law practice Mr. Leopold directs the immigration law curriculum at the Case Western Reserve and Cleveland-Marshall Schools of Law.
