Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals allows certain individuals, who meet specific guidelines, to request consideration of deferred action from USCIS. Individuals who receive deferred action will not be placed into removal proceedings or removed from the United States for a specified period of time unless terminated. A person who receives deferred action, may be eligible for employment authorization.
Do you qualify? Click here to see the Brochure; and here to see the Flowchart posted by USCIS on its website.
Remember immigration law is complex. If you think you might qualify for Deferred Action you should review the materials on the USCIS website and have your case, including any criminal history, reviewed by an immigration lawyer or accredited nonprofit organization.
